Action through Advocacy 

This organization provides services and support to foster and adoptive families of Deschutes, Jefferson and Crook Counties. Action through Advocacy informs and strengthens families who adopt foster children to improve the outcomes for abused and traumatized children.

Bread of life is a food pantry outreach run out of Westside Sisters Church in Sisters, Oregon. Food is distributed every Thursday, and once a month on Fridays.

Home PDX reaches out and cares for the community of homeless folks living indoors in shelters and outdoors in Portland, OR. They seek to,“love people face-to-face,” through meal/food delivery and regular visits to homeless camps and more.

In Our Backyard links arms across America in the fight against Human Trafficking. Join this amazing work that is bringing hope to those caught in this heartbreaking cycle of bondage happening across our country and beyond.

Jail Ministry 

This unique ministry reaches behind bars to encourage, bring hope and inspire with truth those who are incarcerated. Volunteer through prayer, attending Celebrate Recovery and other gatherings happening regularly.

Sisters Cold Weather Shelter 

Each winter Westside Sisters Church opens its doors to 34 guests in need on cold winter nights. Shelter guests check-in between 6 and 10 p.m., and are offered a simple evening meal, coffee and snacks, a movie, games, books to read, puzzles and a chance to socialize. Other resources to brave the elements are given when available. Get involved in this great outreach.
