Drop-off candy in the Family Commons starting Feb 18

With Easter rapidly approaching, it’s the perfect opportunity to gather all the sweets you can find and prepare for some friendly competition, as we prepare to stuff thousands of egg for the annual Easter Egg Hunts!

Kicking off on Sunday, February 18th, kids from each class are welcome to join in the candy collecting competition. This Easter season, kids can drop off bags filled with small individually wrapped candies in the Family Commons. Each class will have its own designated collection box, and the champion will be treated to a donut party on Sunday, March 24th!

Add an extra dose of excitement to your Easter celebrations this year with this delightful competition!

April 1st, 6:30-7:30 pm in the Chapel

Spring is just around the corner and that means it will soon be time to plant! The Westside Community Garden, which we created space for last year, will be sowed and thriving this year. Come hear more about plans and find out how you can get involved. This group is open to all ages, and is a great opportunity for families to work together. No gardening experience necessary, but we welcome those with previous Central Oregon gardening experience.

There will be an interest meeting for people who want to find out more about the Westside Community Garden, our plans for this years, and ways to get involved on April 1st from 6:30-7:30pm in the Chapel.

The Central Oregon chapter of OSU Master Gardeners is offering several free gardening classes at Westside Community Center and they are a great opportunity to learn more about gardening in the challenging Central Oregon environment.
