Uganda Impact Mission Trip

Team Report

Another Step Forward

At the end of August, Joe Earwicker, Megan Turner, Brent Earwicker, David Waight, and Ken Betschart traveled to Entebbe, Uganda to work with our Global Partner organization, Bold Ventures.

This team was tasked with helping to develop Bold Ventures’ missionary sending base on the shore of Lake Victoria and to teach at the Island Leadership Network’s annual conference.
Our small team came with a plethora of skills to boost the ongoing work of the Ugandan team. At the new missionary sending base, we worked alongside Ugandan missionaries and administrative staff in laying out property lines, removing old trees, and grading a road to the lake. We repaired the boat dock and did maintenance on the mission boats and a staff motorcycle. Megan used her haircutting skills to bless the families of a nearby village, and later the pastors on the islands.

Please take a few minutes to see an overview of the trip and how God used this team to bless the Ugandan people:

Sending Intentional Resources

Our Global Partner

Bold Ventures was started by Brent & Virginia Earwicker who were sent to Uganda as Westside Missionaries in 2006. Bold Ventures trains indigenous missionaries to multiply churches among unreached tribes.

Our ongoing support and annual impact mission teams are an important part of getting the Gospel where it has never been before.
