Young Adults Halloween Party Recap

Westside Young Adults celebrated Halloween in style! Our costume contest winners included siblings dressed as Cain and Abel (no sibling was actually harmed during the night) and dance-masters Ken and Barbie! We had some really creative and fun costumes – thanks everyone for showing off your style!

We also learned that Halloween shares holiday status with Reformation Day, which commemorates when Martin Luther set off the Protestant Reformation by nailing his 95 Theses to the church door in Wittenberg on October 31, 1517. We’re still impacted by Reformation ideas, theology, and practices to this day! We also had lots of great Halloween food, games, prizes, and an impromptu jam session/sing along. We’re creating a dynamic community based on the love and grace of Jesus Christ.

Join us Tuesday nights at 7pm as we continue to learn and grow together!
